When pastoral leadership changed at The First Baptist Church of Lewisville, Texas, they were ready to mark a new chapter and refresh their brand presence in the community. Located off a major road in the community bearing the same name, the shift to Valley Ridge Church was the next natural step.
What followed was a fresh identity that honored the church’s legacy while helping it connect with a broader, more diverse audience.

We wanted to create a brand that felt warm, inclusive, and reflective of the church’s evolving vision—without losing the familiarity of a place many locals know as “the church with two steeples.”

We developed a logo system that nods to the church’s iconic dual steeples while emphasizing connection and openness through the type treatments. The goal was to strike a balance between modern and traditional—much like the diverse age range of the congregation itself. The visuals needed to feel fresh and inviting without clashing with the classic architecture of the existing building.

Deliverables included a full brand identity (logo suite, typography, and color system), exterior signage mockups, branded collateral, and templates for both digital and print communication.
